“Deiva Thirumagal” is the movie produced by Mohan Natarajan for Sri Rajakaliamman Medias. It is written and directed by A.L.Vijay. This features Vikram, Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul, Nassar, Santhanam and many others.

Cinematography is by Nirav Shah and the Editing is by Antony. G.V.Prakash Kumar has scored the Music.

Vikram plays the character of Krishna. Despite being a grown up guy, he has the Brain development of just a 5 years boy. As usual, he has given a remarkable performance. He has friendship with a 5 years old girl called Nila. Due to some reasons, Nila is separated from him. So, they go to Court to get back Nila. Anushka comes as the Advocate and Santhanam plays the role of Anushka’s Assistant. Amala Paul comes as the Teacher.

Vikram has sung the Song “Kadhai solla poraen” in his own voice. In some visuals of this movie, Vikram comes like a King, Super Man and so on. Another Song “Vizhigalil oru vaanavil” is very good. A.L.Vijay and G.V.Prakash Kumar are joining hands together for the third time after the movies “Kireedam” and “Madrasapattinam”.

“Deiva Thirumagan” had its own share of problems too. They had lots of issues in the aspect of the film’s title. First they liked to have the Sivaji Ganesan starred title “Deiva Magan”. They could not have that. Then, they tried to have the title “Pitha”. They could not get that title too. Later, they named the film as “Deiva Thirumagan”. As they faced some problem from certain section of people, they had to change the title again. Finally, it was named as “Deiva Thirumagal”.

Huge part of the film was completed with very little publicity. Then, finally the promo Trailer was released in April 2011 only. Most part of this movie was shot in Ooty, while some part of the movie was shot in Chennai. Vikram has shown extreme dedication in this film. He has visited Vidya Sagar, the School for the Mentally Challenged, to portray his character in a more realistic way.

“Deiva Thirumagal” looks like another Master piece from A.L.Vijay, Vikram. There are lots of expectations over this movie. This movie is expected to be released in June 2011.
