Farhan Aktar has again taken up his directorial venture with ‘Don 2’ starring Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

The producers for this movie are Farhan and Ritesh Sidwani.  The music is to be composed by the Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy combination.  There are other stars as Boman Irani, Lara Dutta, Kunal Khemu, Nawab Khan and Om Puri.

The scenes for the movie have been shot in Kuala Lumpur and Berlin.  Shahrukh Khan is cast in the role of a don whose journey takes him to places as the cities mentioned. 

The don character played by Shahrukh, escapes without taking the bait laid for him, and this he does through whatever it demands to escape.

The story outline is very much similar to the previous version, and yet the movie proves considerably thrilling.

Shahrukh Khan has been trained well by the action choreographer in defense mechanisms as Wing Chun and Trapping.  Priyanka Chopra has also done her role in stunt quite well.  The action choreographer for this movie is Wolfgang Stegemann.

There are to be as much as 3000 prints of the movie to be released within the nation, and as much as 550 goes for 3D movies. About 100 prints are to be released abroad.  The movie is to be dubbed in Telugu and Tamil also.

It was of course a uphill task for scenes to be shot in Germany, but they managed to make it after Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise who managed to take certain sequences in the country for their movie.

The don role for the movie has been advertised with the help of certain promotion tactics as comics and video game.

The sequences for the movie have been taken in Berlin, capital of Germany.  As much as 70 people as crew went to Germany for this.

Shahrukh Khan clad with a different costume and flowing manes looks befitting in the role of  Don.
