‘Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu’ is a romance story presented by Dharma Productions. Dharma is out with a surprise gift for fans on Valentine’s Day. The movie is sure to add up Imran Khan’s recent successes. Kareena Kapoor has paired up with Imran Khan.
Imran Khan plays Rahul in the movie who strictly obeys his parents. He loses his job in Vegas which he fears to convey to his parents. Then he goes for psychiatric counseling where he comes across Rihana (Kareena Kapoor). She mistakes him to be part of plot by her ex-date to monitor her movements. She fires abuses at him. But later she realizes her folly and compensates it by calling him out for a date.
Through certain unexpected turn of events when both were drunk, they enter wedlock. But as they come out of the inebriated state, they feel they did a big mistake by marrying. So they resort to divorce. But as divorce proceedings are on, they start developing more intimacy towards each other. The climax is something unexpected.
This is the debutant venture for the movie’s director. The movie balances well the necessary elements required for a good romantic comedy. The film maintains its tempo until last.
Imran Khan has played the timid character impeccably. Kareena’s performance seems to excel with every new venture. But her roles are all stereotyped. We may expect something new out of her roles in forthcoming venture.
Cinematography by David MacDonald is tantalizing. The music is pleasant to hear. Editing by Asif Ali Shaikh is quite commendable.
The songs in the movie hold a mass appeal. One could feel a surge of energy as he sees the visuals.
Ultimately, the movie ‘Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu’ is a commendable production venture by Dharma. The movie is sure to make huge box office collection.
