Remakes are no easy task. A few made recently managed to make an impact for it was faithful to the original, where no tampering was done. Joining the list is Aarthu Sinam.

Adapted from Malayalam hit Memories, Aarthu sinam is about a drunkard police officer, who is entrusted with a job to crack a murder mystery.Jeethu Joseph of Papanasam special, helmed the original that had Prithviraj in the lead.

The remake is directed by Arivazhagan of Eeram and Vallinam fame.Aarathu Sinam is a brainy film. A cop story without much action. The storyline is engrossing.

The investigation episodes makes up an interesting watch.Aarthu Sinam is an engaging entertainer. The hard work of police men, the mystery behind murders with sub-plots are catchy and engaging.

Directed by Eeram and Vallinam fame Arviazhagan, the movie has Arulnithi in the lead. Aishwarya Rajesh plays his wife in the movie.Radharavi, Thulasi, Robo Shankar, Aishwarya Dutta, Charlie, RNR Manohar and Anupama Kumar are also in the cast.

Music is by S S Thaman, while stunts are by Dilip Subbarayan. Cinematograpohy is by Rajesh Khanna.Arulnithi is the flesh and blood of the movie. He is at his best. As a khakhi -clad man to a drunkard cop, he does a super show.

Aishwarya Rajesh does a simple but superb show. She has very little role to do.Robo Shankar, Radharavi, Charlie does a splendid show. Thaman's songs are good and BGM does a super show.

Arulnidhi's shoulders a huge responsibility to greater heights. Three cheers to Sri Thenandal Films for an amazing show.
