After Pasanga 2, comes Azhagu Kutty Chellam, a movie on children and their world. Produced by Neeya Naana fame Antony and directed by Charles, the film speaks about the need to respect emotions, love children and brings to light the likes and dislikes of children.

The movie has one too many stories that end at one point.  There is friendship, camaraderie, humour with an emotional overtone. Charles has managed to come out with a convincing movie.

Children are always a joy to watch and a sneak peek into their innocent world opens new  ideas and thoughts. The movie revolves around an estranged couple, who fights for the custody of their son.

There is another story of  a young woman in the family following an affair with an aspiring chess player, a couple who yearns and craves for a child, an upright autowallah whose wife delivers fourth daughter in their family and a finally a group of young boys who want to stage a play in their school for Christmas.

All the artistes have given their best and the stand out is master Ken Karunaas. He has done a good job. There is Karunaas, Suresh,John Vijay, Chetan, Thambi Ramiah, Aadukalam Naren and Metro Priya besides a group of young boys and girls in the cast.

Music is by Ved Shankar and the background score goes hand in hand with the story.

Cinematography by Vijay Armstrong is bright and beautiful.  Though there are enough pleasant moments in the movie, yet a slow pace in which the movie proceeds mars the show at places.

However due credit should be given to Antony for gathering guts to do a educative movie without commercial compromise.
