Cousins, carnival

Doing a remake is no easy task. To get the same feel and recreate same emotions to a different set of audience is a challenging task. Three cheers to Bomarillu Baskar who managed it to perfection in Bangalore Naatkal. It is no lesser than it original as it entertain and engages audience.

Without making much changes in the original, Baskar has captured the true essence of the original well.

The movie stars Arya, Bobby Simha, Rana, Parvathy and Sridhivya in key roles. Much recently a lot of Malayalam movies are being remade in Tamil. And many found their way to success. No wonder Bangalore Naatakjal will join the race.

The Tamil version is made appealing thanks to solid performance by its artistes.

Arya as a fun-loving youngster and Sridhivya as a chirpy girl steals the show. Parvathy and Bobby Simha with a rock solid show andRana's characterisation makes it an engrossing watch.

The movie is about cousins Divya (Sridhivya), Arjun (Arya) and Kannan (Bobby Simha). They have a great bonding between them. Their lives are full of fun and excitement. They have a love for Bangalore city.

Divya is married to Prasad (Rana Daggubati) and settles in Bangalore. Prasad is a non-nonsense man. Interestingly Arjun and Kannan come to settle in Bangalore with her. They get work there. The rest of the story is all but his the four get along and what challenges they face emotionally.

After a series of poor shows, Arya gets to play to his strength. A callous youth in romance. Bobby Simha's role has been written well, while Rana stands tall, literally with his performance.

Scene stealer is Sridhivya. She enlivens the proceedings. Gopi Sundar's music is good too.PVP has come out with a movie that is fun and entertaining.

An engaging show indeed
