Luxury cars and high-end vehicles have flooded Indian markets. It is no normal sight to see them on Chennai roads too. The movie Bongu is one such attempt that speaks about car thefts and especially how these vehicles are lifted.

Cinematographer-actor Natty after Sathuranga Vettai plays the lead in Bongu that is about a gang that lifts cars. And the con story seems to be a cakewalk for the actor; He manages to give his best and makes it an racy affair with his performance.

Directed by Taj, the movie is engaging from the word go. Natty plays a hi-tech car thief. He does a super show and uses his brains to outwit his enemies in a brilliant manner. Ruhi Singh, a former Miss World Beauty Pageant plays heroine.

The cast also includes Arjunan Nandakumar, Sharath Lohitashwa, Atul Kulkarni and Ramdoss. Music is by Srikanth Deva and camera by Mahesh Muthusamy. The trio of Natty, Ruhi and Arjunan comes to Chennai only to steal luxury cars.

They have a reason to do this. Natty promise stop steal 10 high-end luxury cars owned by a politician (Sarath Lohitashwa) in Coimbatore for a goon in Chennai. They go on literally in the mission, and made known that the politician was the reason for them being chucked out of their jobs.

They vow to revenge him. Meanwhile, an MP's daughter goes missing in Kovai and steps in police officer Atul Kulkarni to investigate the incident. What happens when all meet at one point is the rest.Natty's performance is subtle yet impressive. He holds the key.

He does replicatre his show in Sathuranga Vettai here. Ruhi Singh is bubbly and energetic. Ramdoss of Mundasupatti fame does a good act and he manages to tickle your funny bone at places. Sarath Lohitashwa plays a typical baddie of Tamil politician speaking from his belly.

Arjunan plays a comical role. Athul Kulkarni as honest cop steals the show.Srikanth Dev'a music is good and engaging. Mahesh Muthusamy's camera is appreciable. Bongu is an action entertainer sure to be a hit among car lovers.

Bongu,_ Natty does it well
