Arulnidhi knows the knack of picking up unique scripts and stories that challenge acting skills. When he teams up with a filmmaker like Radha Mohan, obviously it is a content -driven movie with enough elements in them to entertain and engage masses.

Radha Mohan has ensured that everything is real but played simple. A straight from the heart movie, Brindhavanam is about an actor and his fans coming together. What happens when they develop a bonding between them.It speaks about friendship, love and need to accept people as they are.

The movie features Arulnidhi, Vivek, Tanya, M S Baskar among others play lead roles. Cinematography is by Vivekanand and music by Vishal Chandrasekhar.Kannan (Arulnidhi) is a speech-impaired and dumb youngster. He is brought up in a home.

Works in a saloon and his friendly ways wins him the admiration of everyone. Kannan is a fan of actor Vivek and loves his comedy. There is Sandhya (Tanya) who falls for him. Kannan comes across Vivek one day and they soon become friends.

But a big trouble in the form of romance happens in Kanna's life. Now Vivek gets down to set things right. How he does that forns the plot.It is a decent show by Arulnidhi. He is restrained and gives an impeccable performance.Tanya the young actress chips in well while Vivek ends up the scene-stealer.

He as the actor himself deals the character well and excels. But the lacunae in the movie are its climax. It’s draggy and cliched.

Brindavanam _ Simple and sweet
