G. V. Prakash Kumar
G V Prakash has proved his worth as actor with back-to-back hits., From a busy music composer, he turned to become a busy acor. He has his hands full with half-a-dozen movies.
Fourth in his kitty as hero is Enakku Innoru Paer Irukku (EIPI). The movie brings together G V Prakash and filmmaker Sam Anton after darling.Anandhi joins G V Prakash after Trisha Illaina Nayanthara. in the lead. Produced by Lyca Productions, it also had Nirosha, Saravanan, Nan Kadavul Rajendran, Yogi Babu and Karunas in key roles.
Music is by GV Prakash himself and cinematography is by Krishnan Vasant.Comedy is Aanton's strengrth and he proved it with Darling. He conciously goes away from horror genre of Darling to a laughathon.
The movie is set around Royapuram. The lives of anti-socials narrated in a funny manner.Naina (Saravanan) is the lord of Royapuram. He controls the whole area. But as a gangster he has his own enemies.
Fearing a possible threat, he starts to find his successor. And his accomplices zeroes in on auto driver Johnny (G V Prakash). He is timid and fears for verything. Iterestingly to marry Naina's sister Anandhiu, he agrees to become a don. But eventually on the wedding day, gets beaten by Naina's opposition gang.
It is now on his shoulders to set things right and reclaim lost spot.G V Prakash hogs all linelight. He is at his best and does a stellar act. Anandhi does a good job.Yogi Babu, Karunas, VTV Ganesh, Rajendran evokes laughter.
Saravanan is good in the role of Naina. Music by G V Prakash is foot-tapping. The director ensures maximum fun and no logic anywhere. He seems to have served a purpose. A good show indeed.
