Thrillers have to be made racy and engrossing. Keeping this in mind comes Rajapandi's Ennamo Nadakkudhu. A taut thriller the movie has Vijay Vasanth, Mahima playing the lead roles. The movie is Vijay Vasanth's ninth venture. He earlier acted in Nadodigal, Mangatha and Nanban.

Seasoned campaigners including Prabhu, Rahman, Thambi Ramaiah, Saranya Ponvannan and Sukanya form part of the cast. Set in Chennai milieu, it has everything and anything about dark shades of Chennai narrating in a gripping manner.

Rajapandi had worked as Mani Ratnam's assistant in Thiruda Thiruda. Premji Amaran, a regular in his brother Venkat Prabhu films along with Vijay Vasanth, has scored music. The life and struggle of a North Chennai makes up the movie.

Vijay Vasanth, a typical Chennai youth falls in love with a nurse (Mahima). They get along very well. But call it a fate when Vijay Vasanth is forced to commit a crime to keep his love going. This puts him in deeper trouble. He is now chased by two gangsters. Does he escape? This forms the crux of the movie.

Vijay Vasanth has utilised the opportunity as solo hero to keep it going. Mahima is tailor-made for the character. Saranya Ponvannan as Vijay Vasanth's mom is good choice. Prabhu and Rahman brings up a solid show.

What begins as a fun ride settles down as thriller and ends up a riveting fare.

Suspense, surprise
