Joining the list of television anchors turning hero is Deepak. He plays the lead in Ivanukku Thanila Gandam. A hilarious entertainer that revolves around an individual and his misdeeds on a night when he gets drunk.

The high point is Naan Kadavul Rajendran playing a hilarious role. Directed by S N Sakthivel, it is a movie that begins on a slow note and settles down as a laugh-riot in the latter part.

Deepak has done well and plays a role that is close to his heart - a TV anchor. Saravanan (Deepak) is frustrated that he has to anchor a sex-related show. He is scared of a loan shark to whom he owes money. His romance with Deepika (Neha) is also going nowhere.

After a night of senseless drinking, he wakes only to be told by the mysterious Mark that he has murdered those who are hurdle to his success.

Can Saravanan figure out happened during the night? Produced by Venkatraj of VVR Cine Mask, Ivanukku Thanilla Gandam manages a good show thanks to Naan Kadavul Rajendran.

Kumaravel of Abhiyum Nanum fame plays a meaty role. But at places, the movie is amateurish and ends up nowhere.
