Call it a splendid show on screen. It's game on big screen. A movie on cricket and the harsh realities involved with the sport is what the movie is all about. Suseenthiran knows the knack of extracting the best from his artistes and his movie earlier on kabbadi did manage to leave audience surprised.

With Jeeva, he has yet again proved sports-based movies can be made commercially. He speaks about the aspirations of youngsters who take up cricket and their desire to excel.

But what petty politics does in the sport form the rest.Actor Vishnu plays the lead, while Sri Divya of VVS fame, Lakshmanan, Soori are also in the cast. Music is by D Imman.

The movie is released by Vishal Film Factory and Arya's The Show People.Jeeva (Vishnu) is an aspiring cricketer. He wants to play for India. In his school days, he shows his talent.

There is a broken romance with Jenny (Sridivya). Bitten by the love for cricket, he manages to play for a local club and did manage to leave an impact. With no other choice, he is compelled to be selected for State cricket team.

But the dirty politics ends up spoiling his future. Now he embarks on a mission to realize his dream. How he does that forms the rest.Vishnu is apt choice for the role.

Having played cricket before, the role sits on his shoulders well. Sridivya continues from where she left in Varuthapadtha Valibar Sangam.Lakshmanan and Soori liven up the proceedings.

Suseenthiran has done a commendable job and renders a racy entertainer loaded with emotions. A match to reckon with.
