Jyothika is back with a bang. Women power is at helm in 36 Vayadhinile that speaks about the dreams, aspirations and lives of opposite sex.

A remake of Malayalam hit How Old Are You, which was a comeback vehicle for Malayalam actress Manju Warrier, the movie has its own emotional and lighter moments. Close to reality, it works out thanks to Jyothika's screen presence.

Back on screen after eight years, she begins from where she left. She is flawless and looks cute, bubbly and energetic. She emotes where it needed and carries the role in her shoulders with glee.

Jyothika entertains in every frame. She is at her best. Giving her right company is Rahman as a husband who wants his wife to be a 'typical' woman.

The movie is set in a middle class family in Chennai where Vasanthi (Jo) is the fulcrum. She manages to hold family together with her innocence. For her hubby, children and in-laws are the world.

One fine day, a meeting with President of India in Chennai changes her world. But when the first citizen meets her, she faints. she is ridiculed by all even in Facebook, Her husband and daughter leaves her to settle in Ireland.

Thanks to the acquaintance of her college friend  (Abirami), Vasanthi get her confidence back. She now vows to be bold and stand up for her dreams. What she does then and how she ends up knocking the doors of Rashtrapathi Bhavan again forms the climax.

Roshan Andrews, who made the original, has executed the remake to perfection. Double it with Santosh Narayanan's music, the movie sticks to you.
Though there are some cliched scenes, the movie, produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainments is here to stay.

Jyothika\'s special
