After a series of comical hero roles, Sivakarthikeyan graduates to do a cop's role and he does it with ease. He pulls it off single-handedly. He fits the bill well and what more he engrosses the attention of all masses.

Three cheers to Sivakarthikeyan. Produced by Wunderbar and released by S Madhan of Escape Artist, the movie has Sridivya, Prabhu, and Vijay Raaz in key roles.

Music is by Aniurdh. A top-notch performance by all including a good show by those behind the screen, Kaaki Sattai is a splendid show. The plot is very familiar.

It speaks about an honest cop and his travails. As it happens Mathimaran (Sivakarthikeyan) is a head constable. He is upright and honest. But he has bickering with his senior officer (Prabhu).

He challenges to unearth something big and prove his worth. He along with his girl friend sets out on a mission. They come across an organ racket run by an influential man (Vijay Raaz).

Now onus is on Mathirmaran to set things right.A cop's role needs dedication and attention. Sivakarthikeyan is right there delivering his best. Sridivya is splendid. She is cute and bubbly.

Imman Annachi's comedy evokes humour. Vijay Raaz gives a commendable performance.  But Prabhu is at his best. Anirudh's music is splendid and background score evokes interest.

There are some lacunae in the form of a predictable screenplay. But all said, the suspense element and humour quotient is what the movie successfully gets ends up with.

Super Show
