Srinivasan, Amzadhkhan, Lakshmi Priya
The director has taken a leaf out of Pizza to deliver a movie that is horro all through but ends with a twist. The film that runs for just a couple hours iss watchable but the storyline and spooky elements in the movie are far too predictable.
Kalam is none more addition to the horror list. Every third film releasing in Kollywood iss set in this genre. Directed by Robert Raaj, Kalam has VJ Pooja, Lakshmi Priyaa, Amzath, Shrinivasan and Madhususdhanan Rao.
Watch out for a cameo by Nasser.Produced for Arul Movies by PK Chandran, the movie Subish Chandran handling story, screenplay and dialogues.
Mukesh handles cinematography while music is by Prakash Nikki.A couple comes to stay in a hunted house, given as a gift by the hero Amzath's father., They encounter spooky moments. They start to shiver.
They hire a aghori who discovers few interesting things in the house. There are death, blood and abnormal voices too heard in the house. What happens eventually in the house forms the rest.
Sadly the entire sequence seems to have been seen already and that spoils our interest. This deja vu feel is a spoiler. But all the artistes including Amzath, Lakshmi Priya and Madhusudhanan have given a superb show.Kalam is a spooky thriller that is slow but okay.
Kalam - Average outing
