For those who have watched the Telugu movie Prathinidhi, Ko2 will not be much of a surprise. The latter follows the story-line of the former but has been adapted to the Tamil audience.
Directed by Sarath, Ko2, features Bobby Simha, Nikki Galrani and Prakash Raj in the leading roles.A political drama thriller, the movies hits the screens at a time when the state is going for elections.
The crux of the story is that the politicians deny what is due to the common man. With an engaging screenplay, Sarath has given the audience what they expect. The first half of the film is entertaining.
They are place which has slow narration but that can be overlooked with captivating dialogues. The scene between Bobby Simha and Prakash Raj are the big highlight. The two complement each other.
Nikki Galrani has rocked the show. She plays the role of a reporter. Another highlight is the film's music. Done by debutant Leon James, the background score and the tracks are fresh and professional.
The movie has an underlying message that seeks to create awareness among the masses.Crisp dialogues are a plus point to the show. Sarath who has written the screenplay has been in mind that the audience do not get bored with long lines and quite scenes.
The romance between Nikki Galrani and Bobby Simha is worth a mention. The director has blended well this emotion without tampering much with the original plot.
Most of the movie lies in the second half. The first part is more of an presenter, that puts forth issues. The plot takes off only after the interval.Ko2 is a neat entertainer and a definitely watchable one.
