Director Ravichandran made a name for himself with movies like Kannethiray Thondrinal and Majnu, and is now back in the hunt with Natpathigaram. A romantic movie with thrust on freidnship is what the movie is all about.

But sadly it lacks the speed and momentum. And looks outdated and jaded at polaces.Raj Bharath, Amjad, Reshmi Menon and Tejasvi play lead roles in the movie that has M S Baskar, Subbu Panchu and Vinodhini in supporting cast.

Raj Bharath and Tejaswi love each other. Amjad, a rich boy loves Reshmi Menon. The four are good friends.Sadly tuirn of events leads to break up and Jeeva and Maha's family plan for their wedding. What happen then forms the crux.

Raj Bharath is the stalk and cheese of the movie.Amjad also does well, but Reshmi Menon steals the show. Tejaswi adds glam quotient well. M S Baskar and Subbu Panchu are also good. Cinematography by B Gurudev and music is composed by Deepak Nilambur.

A movie that makes a promising beginning loses steam as it goes.
