Comedy films have always made it big in Tamil cinema. Many light-hearted themes have always found favour with masses.

Joining the long list is Ma Ka Pa Anand's Navarasa Thilagam.Directed by Kamran, the movie stars Ma Ka Pa Anand and Srushti Dange in lead roles.

Also in the cast includes Karunakaran, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasu and Mahadevan. Music composer Siddharth Vipin is also in the cast.

Produced by Sudharsan Vembutty, Navarasa Thilagam is about the bonding shared by Murthy (Ma Ka Pa Anand) and his father Pannerselvam (Ilavarasu).

The former is irresponsible and with his friend Alankaram (Karunakaran) he does nothing and spends his time doing nonsense things.Meanwhile there is love between Murthy meets Chitra (Srushti Dange).

There is  (Siddharth Vipin), who plays a funny part to the twists and turns.Ma Ka Pa Anand fits the role well, while Srushti Dange does pull it off well.

Karunakaran does a super show in evoking comedy while Jayaprakash add elegance. Siddharth Vipin  performance is engaging.Ma Ka Pa Anand ensures the comedy element is there all through.

His role is seemingly inspired by what Vimal did in Kalavani.Three cheers to director Kamran for a family tale. Watch it to be floored by the comical elements.

Tickles the funny bone
