Horror movies are the latest trend in Tamil cinema. Many a film that was made around ghosts, spirits and evil spirits have raked in molar. Severalmovies were made in the recent past that revolved around horror themes.

Mysskin has joined the race too. This time with Pisasu. The movie stars Naga, Prayaga Martin, Harish Uthaman, Radharavi, Kani Kusruti, Kalyani Natarajan among others.

It is produced by National award winning filmmaker Bala with music by Arrol Corelli. The man, who made films like Onayum Aatukuttiyum and Nandhalala, is out with a different genre.

Though it is new to him, he has tread with well and manages to make it an engrossing ride. Pisasu is about a group of friends, who experience eerie moments. It is on their face.

The movie has its own, moments that makes you enjoy and at the same marvel. But the fear factor doesn't dip down anywhere.Naga and Prayaga Martin fit their roles well. They are cool and casual.

They manage to bring out fear in their eyes. Harish Uthaman has given their best. Radha Ravi after a long gap gets to play a meaty role. The movie has a lot of fresh faces and all have lived up to the expectations, though it is their first.Mysskin has come out with a new genre that engrosses.

It is loaded with enough suspense and there are enough in it to woo masses. Music composer Arrol Corelli deserves a pat. His music adds pep to the proceedings.Mysskin has succeeded in giving his best. Three cheers to Pisasu.

Thrill spill
