Hari and his films are always racy and riveting. They are set around a particular town or city and he would use the geographical background to perfection. No different from his typical mass masala films is Poojai. After Thamirabarani, he joins hands with Vishal. Sruthi Haasan plays the heroine.

The movie produced by Vishal himself has Sathyaraj, Radhika, Jayaprakash, Mukesh Tiwari, Soori among others in the cast. Music by Yuvan Shankar raja, while Priyan cranks the camera.

Vasu (Vishal) lends money in a market. Life goes smooth for him in the company of his friend Soori. He comes across Dhivya and both falls in love. Meanwhile he saves ADSP (Sathyaraj) from being killed by the gang of Singanna (Mukesh Tiwary). He also comes to know that his family is also under the scanner of Singanna and his gang.

The onus is now on Vasu to set things right. Vasu even goes all the way to Bihar to put an end to Singanna. It is bubbly Vishal who holds the film together. He is expressive and excels in stunt sequences. He dances, romance and adds power to the screen. Sruthi is cute and bubbly.

Sathyaraj and Radhika have a part to play and they do their job well. Jayapraksh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Sithara, Kausalya have chipped in with their best. Prathap Pothen is back after a gap to play his part well. Soori's one-liners tickle our funny bone.

Priyan's camera adds to the strength of the movie. His aerial shots are splendid. Also Yuvan Shankar raja's songs are foot-tapping. However a sense of deja vu prevails in the film as the film doesn't deviate from his regular typical stuff.

A cliched feel prevails at many places. However all said the movie can be enjoyed in parts and the pace in which it progresses makes it a pleasure watch.

Action all the way
