Movies on brothers adoring each other and coming in terms of crisis together have always made it big in cinema. We have seen many films in the past on such themes. And debutant filmmaker Usha Krishnan, a former associate of Suseenthiran  comes out with Raja Manthiri. We have seen movies like Chiuinna Thambi Periya Thambi and Aan Pavam before.

They had a say at the script. Raja Manthiri is a good show.Produced by who cameraman P G Muthiah and Mathiazhagan, Raja Manthiri is directed by Usha Krishnan.A woman filmmaker who tries to portray about man world.

Raja Manithiri speaks about two brothers (Kali Venkat and Kalaiarasan). The movie has Bal Saravanan, Shalin, Vaishali, Nadodigal Gopal, Rindhu Ravi, Ferara and Sarava Sakthi.Orange Mittai fame Justin Prabhakaran has scored the music.

Surya (Kali Venkat) and Karthi (Kalaiarasan) are brother who are caring and affectionate on each other. The former is uneducated and works hard for educating his younger brother.

Karthi with with his friend Sathish (Bala Saravanan) enjoys life. His life takes a turn when Subha (Shalin) enters. They get hooked to each other.Turn of events lead to Suriya's wedding arranged with Subha.

This shocks Karthi. What happens then in their lives form the rest.Kali Venkat and Kalaiarasan excel in their roles. They engage and entertain all. Kalaiarasan shines as younger brother Karthi.Bala Saravanan seems to come big in movie after movie.

P G Muthiah's camera does a good who and the scenes are captured bright and beautiful. Justin Prabhakaran's tunes are catchy.Raja Manthiri is a light-hearted entertainer, sure to appease all.
