Actor Vijayakanth’s son Shanmuga Pandian makes his debut as hero with Sagaptham. Produced by Captain Cine Creations, the movie has action-packed sequences.

The movie stars newcomers Neha and Shubra Aiyappa as the female leads in Sagaptham, which has Ranjith, Devayani, Bose Venkat, Suresh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Powerstar Srinivasan are in the cast. Sagaptham has music by Karthikraja. Bollywood star Sourav plays the baddie in the movie.

Shanmuga Pandian plays Saga, who plays a do-gooder in the movie. He along with his friend Jagan does a good job. They are admired by all in the Town. He comes across Devayani, who husband Ranjith is lost in Malaysia, Now Saha goes to Malaysia where his friend Power star Srinivasan works.

Interestingly Saha busts a drug cartel. The onus is on Saha to set things right.Shanmuga Pandian is apt for the role. The young actor has done a wonderful act. His role is written well and he sets the pace. Jagan is okay as comedian while both the heroines are good.

Karthikraja's music sets the pace for the film, while there are enough entertaining elements in it to make it count.

However predictable sequences and some cliched scenes take away sheen.Vijayakanth appears as a police officer in the movie towards the climax and displays his stunt abilities to perfection.

There are enough for the fans of Vijayakanth. The movie is more of action and more of twists. A film Vijayakanth fans will cherish.

Good attempt
