Sequels for movies are common trend today. And many have gone on to become hits while a few suffered huge setbacks. Interestingly, Thiruttu Payalae sequel is special for none of the characters from part one are back here except the director and producer. Thiruttu Payalae 2 features Bobby Simha, Prasanna and Amala Paul.

It is helmed by Susi Ganesan and bankrolled by AGS Entertainments. Sanam Shetty, Vivek, Robo Shankar and others are in the supporting cast.Social media addiction can cause havoc in the family. This has been the crux of the sequel.

Remember Thiruttu Payale was released in 2006. It was the story of a blackmailer and a married woman caught in a indecent affair. It was even made by Susi Ganesan in Hindi as Short Cut Romeo in 2013.

The major challenge for Susi Ganesan was to retain the flavour of the first story while narrating a completely different one in the sequel. Three cheers to Susi Ganesan, who passes the test with consummate ease.

With the help of technology today, he has tried to give a  different spin to the story. There is sleaze, glamour, romance, deceit, anger, agony and revenge in the movie.

Three cheers to Susi Ganesan or exploring human emotional conflicts in an engaging manner. The movie speasks about ills of eavesdropping and voyeurism. The movie has no good men. Not even a few. Everyone is flawed in their own ways and jump at the first opportunity that they get to break bad.

The film manages to have a refreshing watch for the audience.Vidyasagar has composed the music for Thiruttu Payale 2 and Nee Paarkum and Neenda Naal tracks have been well-received by the viewers. It has P Chelladurai's cinematography and Raja Mohammad's editing.Thiruttu Payale 2 is a thriller in which Bobby Simha plays the pivotal role and Amala Paul is his wife.

The movie is not about good versus evil, but a clash between the two characters with grey shades. It is coming out with an underlying message about the danger of getting trapped in social media with strangers. The conflicts between Prasanna and Bobby Simha makes it a good watch. The three premium characters and their tangle form the crux.

Social media complications, cyber bullying are well explained in Thiruttu Payalae. The movie gathers momentum as it progresses.Bibby Simha as a man on a mission does a decent act, He is an actor who demands author-backed role. He excels when he is fed with a string character.

His anger and agony adds well to his character. Amala Paul has enough opportunity to not to show glam but also perform. She is vital clog of the movie. Her cute looks lends solidity to the story.

Thescene stealer is Prasanna. His Casanova looks and well-built physique adds to the story. He is a thinking actor and his performance is highlight of the whole movie.A movie that is bold and engaging. Thiruttu Payalae is for those who spend lots of time in social media and cyber space.
