Nagarjuna Akkineni, Karthi, Tamannaah, Prakash Raj
It has been a long-time when one saw two-hero film with equal screen space for both. Here comes Thozha. And two big stars Nagarjuna and Karthi share the screen. And whatmore both has meaty role and one outshines other oin their performance.
Directed by Vammsi Padipelli, the movie has Tamannah as heroine with Prakashraj playing a solid role.Produced by PVP Productions, the movie has music by Gopi Sundar and dialogues by Raju Murugan of Cuckoo fame. The storyline is simple.
A poor ex-con assigned to take care of a immovable rich man. What transpires between them form the crux.
It is full of fun-filled moments and emotions laced at right mix.Nagarjuna plays a wealthy and a rich businessman, who is restricted to his chair. He can't even move. Now he hires Karthi, a ex con who comes out of jail.
A slum-dweller and a fun-filled youth he gets the job.Now there begins all trouble. Now things go for a toss. But slowly their bonding increases and they develop a bromance. They go all out in ensuring the comfort of each other.
There is Tamannah to add glamour quotient. What happens eventually in their lives make up the movie.Nagarjuna is the scene-stealer. He is cool and amazing. Right from frame one he does a gusto act restricting to a wheel chair.
And his expressions convey a lot of meaning. And what special is that he is lends solidity with a real performance. Karthi is not far behind. He does a role that he has been doing with ease in many Tamil cinema.
He is bubbly and energetic. His screen presence is amazing. Tamannah is bubbly and cute.Vamsi deserves a credit for handling the script with ease.
His indianisation of Intouchables is worthy of a watch. With right emotions and feel-good moments, and the wonderful bonding of Nagarajuna and Karthi.
Thozha is a superb watch
