Movies set around politics always had a special liking among masses. When it is more close to reality and the characters manage to strike a chord, it ends up a winner.Three  cheers to director-producer Vijay Kumar.

His Uriyadi is strikingly different from the rest. There is action, friendship, turn of events that leads to bloody battle among others. The movie stars Vijay Kumar also plays the lead role while cast includes Mime Gopi, Sivakumar and Chandru.Masala Coffee is scoring the music.

The background score is by Kumar and cinematography by Paul Livingstone and editing by Abhinav Sunder Nayak.A political sound film it speaks about desires and aspirations of youngsters today and how politicians in the name of caste cheat common man.

A campus film basically, the movie is set around four students with Vijay Kumar leading the pack. These friends are fun-loving and enjoy all things. They come across an aspiring politician Mime Gopi, who runs a dhaba.

He is eager to come up with his own caste based political party.A women in their lives add to the mess. And a gory incident in one night turns the tide. All hell breaks loose and steps in Mime Gopi to cash the advantage. What happens then forms the rest.Vijay Kumar is the flesh and blood of the movie.

He has played the role with consummate ease. His hard work is visible in every frame.  Suruli does a good act. Mime Gopi is highlight of the film. He is cool and gives a dazzling performance. He gets under the skin of the character to deliver a strong show.

Music by Masal Cafe is another highlight and camera does captures the action well.WIth hard-hitting dialogues and interesting turn of events, Uriyadi is an engaging watch.
