Debutant filmmaker Ramesh Subramaniam has come up with a twist in the tale movie that is produced by his good friend and filmmaker Suseenthiran.Sri of Onnaiyum Aatukuttiyum fame and Harish Kalyan play lead roles.

Srishti Dange, Chandini, Nisha Krishnan and Madan Kumar make up the cast. Navin has scored the music, Martin Joe cranked the camera.

Have we ever realised that we are driven by external forces and that our journey in life is guided by someone else and all this happen without our knowledge? The filmmaker has handled it well and given it a new colour with all commercial elements.

Vil Ambu may speak a philosophical tone but there is action, romance and comedy in it.Sri is a slum boy and life is all but fun for him. There is Harish Kalyan, a educated youth who wants to take up a job as filmmaker.Sri's faults lands Harish in trouble.Nishal Krishnan, daughter of a local bigwig, falls in love with him.

As expected, trouble erupts for them. Meanwhile an idly-seller (Chandini) falls for Harish Kalyan. The rest is how about the two young men fight their fate and without their knowledge help each other. It is a superb show by both Sri and Harish Kalyan.

Both have got under the skin and given their best.Srishti Dange and Chandini add value with their performance. Naveen's songs are catchy.Though it is engaging, the length is a lacunae. And the screenplay confuses at times.

Good effort
