Real & raw

Vettrimaran after the likes of Polladhavan and Aadukalam, comes with a hard hitting film in Visaranai. It means interrogation and obviously speaks about the flaws in police department and how badly we need reforms to address the same.

The movie is produced by Dhanush and Vettirmaran and stars  Attakathi Dinesh, Murugadoss, Samuthirakani, Kishore, Anandi and Ajay Ghosh in lead roles.

The various approaches of police, their work stress and the way innocent falls trap to the flaws in society are well-etched by Vettrimaran. The movie is based on a novel Lock Up and the director has managed to make it a movie without spoiling the writing.

Whatmore to make it more realistic, Vettrimaran had been to the real locations to ensure the sense of originality.

All is narrated with a purpose. Less drama, more emotions and real-life like situations, Visaranai is a super film and no wonder it won the appreciation of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth.

It is the story of four youngsters, who are taken to custody by Guntur for no reason and and detained there to tortures. They are eventually helped and rescued by a police officer (Samuthirakani) from Tamilnadu. In return, they help him kidnap an accused from judicial custody.

This leads to lots of troubles in their lives. Did they escape from Guntur police and what happens in their encounter with Tamilnadu police forms the rest.

Vettrimaran has no just dealt a serious issue but touches upon the romance in the movie is a good way. And there is comedy too.Music by G V Prakash Kumar and cinematography by S Rama Linga.

Visaranai by Vettrimaran speaks about a most-wanted issue in the society and try arrive at finding a solution. Three cheers to him for giving respect to Tamil cinema.

A Tamil movie in international standards is Visaranai.
