It is usual that best among Indian movies are sent for Oscar Award.

In the line of Indian movies competing for Oscar, Murugadoss’s directorial venture ‘7aum Arivu’ starred by Suriya, ‘Vazhakku En 18/9’ directed by Balaji Sakthivel have taken place.

The Oscar Award which is considered the best to be given for movies across the world remains the dream goal for every cine artiste.

The Indian Film federation has selected 10 Indian movies for Oscar.  In the line are Tamil movies as ‘7aum Arivu’, and ‘Vazhakku En 18/9’.  Also Hindi movies as Kahaani, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, ‘The Dirty Picture’, and Barfi have been nominated.

It is to be noted that Vidya Balan received national award for best actress in movie ‘The Dirty Picture’.
