Aadhi and Lakshmi Manju rescued after being carried away by flood during shooting

During shooting for ‘MaRanthaen Manniththaen’, actor Aadhi and his pair Lakshmi Manju were carried away by flood.  Fishermen in the vicinity rescued them to the shore.

Lakshmi Manju, daughter of Mohan Babu, is producing and making movie ‘MaRanthaen Manniththaen’.  Aadhi does the hero for the movie.  There is yet another pair, Tapsee and Sudeep Kishan for the movie.  Nagendra Kumar is debuting as director for the movie.

The shooting for the movie was held in Godavari River in Andhra.  For this, 170 huts were raised by the shore.  To take scene depicting flood, permission had been obtained to open the nearby dam.

Everybody was keenly awaiting commencement of the shot, which was to be taken with 20 cameras.

In the midnight around 12.15, dam was opened.  Water gushed at great speed and Aadhi and Lakshmi Manju who were standing by the huts, were carried away by floods.  They were carried away almost for 400 feet.

Immediately, alert fishermen rescued them back to the shore.
