Udhaya ventured into the film industry as an actor with the film Tirunelveli. He is the elder brother of director AL Vijay. Now he is doing a movie titled Aavi Kumar.

This film is being directed by K Knadeepan.  Kanika Tiwari is playing the female lead. Moreover Nassar, Jagan, Ramdoss, Devadarshini are also part of this film. This film has music by Vijay Antony.

The shooting of this film happened yesterday in Chennai near Saveetha Medical College. Here the final scene of the film was shot. In this more than 500 junior artist acted and it has created huge buzz.

The shoot which happened at a jet speed had Udhaya, Jagan, Ramdoss, Devadarshini among other actors also took part in this shoot.
