Actor Varun Dhawan relates desire of younger days to turn a wrestler

Popular Bollywood director David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan set foot into cinemas after finishing studies in business management.

Varun Dhawan worked as assistant director in Karan Johar’s ‘My name is Khan’.  In a development, Varun is debuting as Bollywood actor through Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’. 

Other than Varun, Alia Bhatt, daughter of producer Mahesh Bhatt, and Sidharth Malhotra are debuting as actors.  The shooting for the movie is in progress.

Recently, Varun who has now turned an actor conveyed desire of his younger days to turn a wrestling champion.  ‘It was my dream to direct a movie.  But, in childhood, I desired turning a wrestler.  In childhood, as I watched wrestling championships, I developed affinity towards wrestling.’
 ‘As one takes part in training for wrestling, there are chances of sustaining injuries.  I used to debate it with my mother.  I used to get spankings for telling such a thing.  Now, I am an actor.  My dream of acting in Karan Johar’s movie has materialized.  The same way, I desire directing a movie.  I will make announcement regarding my movie when the time comes.’

The movie Varun Dhawan does is to be released the coming October 19th.
