Actress Jasmine is debuting through movie Solla Maattaen. A new face does hero.  The hero seems to have hesitated to embrace the actress during shooting for the movie. 

During such times, the director would hug the actress and would direct the actor to do in similar fashion.  Every time the hero messes up, the director hugged the actress to show how it should be done. 

Music composer Shankar Ganesh recollected this in audio launch of Solla Maattaen. He did not drop it there and then.  He invited actress Jasmine to his side and hugged her when she least expected.  Jasmine was totally taken aback.  The actress did not come out of the shock till end of event.
