Sona files petition in court seeking ban on release of Telugu movie

Actress Sona has filed a case in the Chennai High Court seeking ban on release of ‘Kanimozhi’ movie’s Telugu version.   ‘Kanimozhi’ is the movie Sona produced in Tamil.  But the movie did not turn out well in the box office.

Efforts are in progress to dub this movie in Telugu. The Telugu version has been titled ‘Love Journey’.  Actress Sona, the proprietor of ‘Eunich Productions’ has filed a petition in Chennai High Court seeking ban on the Telugu version.

The petition reads as follows:  ‘Amma Creations took up production of actor Jai’s movie.  Since they were not able to complete the movie, they approached me.  I gave required money for production.  I paid for it and got the entitlement.’

 ‘The movie was released by name ‘Kanimozhi’.  Following that I incurred heavy loss.’

‘Currenlty Amma creations is to dub this movie in Telugu.  They have not got my consent for this.  They are to release the movie with title ‘Love Journey’.  Ban should be imposed on release of the movie.’

Judge Vasuki went through the petition.  Lawyer Thangasivan presented himself on behalf of petitioner.  Judge Vasuki has adjourned the hearing to coming 27th.
