Actress Swathi, who did movie Raattinam did movie Mannaaru starring Appukutty.  It is reported that this has resulted in her losing chances to do pair for lead heroes.

When asked with Swathi, she replied ‘I am proud to have done movie with Appukutty.  Reason is that he won national award for his debutant venture.  I am not affected in any way as I paired up with him.  They say I lost movie chances since I paired up with him.’

‘Only when I was doing Mannaaru, ‘Love Today’ Balasekaran signed me up for movie ‘Oruvar Meethu Iruvar Saainthu’’ said Swathi.
