Alphonsa files complaint with Chennai Police commissioner

Alphonsa has lodged complaint with Chennai Police Commissioner that she is receiving murder threats over phone.  Alphonsa was staying in multi-storey in Virugambakkam, Chennai with her lover Vinod Kumar.

In a sudden twist, the last month on 24th, Vinod Mumar reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself.  Also, reportedly Alphonsa attempted suicide unable to bear grief of her lover’s death.  But she survived.

Vinod Kumar’s father has filed complaint with police that Alphonsa and her brother murdered Vinod Kumar.  As police keenly investigated, the post mortem report revealed that Vinod Kumar indeed committed suicide.

Reports were rife that Alphonsa absconded and she is trying to flee abroad.  But Alphonsa gave interview in Chennai that she did not abscond, and that Vinod Kumar committed suicide out of anxiety in not being able to flourish in cinema and torture by parents. 

 Alphonsa stated that she that she did not go into hiding and that she cannot flee abroad, and that Vinod Kumar’s relatives burnt her passport. 

In a sudden development, actress Alphonsa has lodged complaint with Chennai Police Commissioner.  She mentioned in the complaint that the day when Vinod Kumar committed suicide his relatives assaulted her and burnt her passport.

 ‘Due to this I am unable to participate in events abroad.  Amidst all these Vinod Kumar’s father is threatening me asking for money.  He uses obscene language.  He threatens that he would kidnap my child.  So action should be initiated against him’ stated Alphonsa in her complaint.
