No problem in doing multi-heroine films

She made heads turned in Kollywood with her scintillating performance in Mynaa. She is currently very busy with her hands full of films.

Amala Paul is the most sought after actress in Tamil cinema now. Her Deiva Thirumagal is soon to be released and the film Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal is another notable release this year.

Currently she is doing Vettai directed by Lingusamy, and it is reported, director Mysskin has approached her for a role in his Mugamoodi with actor Jiiva.

Buzz is that the actress is very happy about the way her career is shaping up. It seems most of her films offer roles that are ‘one of the heroines’ or a ‘second fiddle’ to the main heroine. In Deiva Thirumagal she shares screen space with Anushka and in Vettai she plays another heroine along with Sameera Reddy.

When quizzed about sharing screen space with other heroines the pretty actress reacted, “I don’t accept roles just by seeing whether I’m playing the main female lead or not. I see my character, how important it is and how it is going to make a difference in the story, however small it may be”

The Kerala star also added that it did not bother when she saw the promotions of Deiva Thirumagal, as there were people saying that she was being sidelined in the movie. “It is out and out Vikram’s movie”, she answers to them.

It seems the actress has learnt the basic nuances of film industry – go by the tide and reach your destination!
