American organization estimates further rise in worth of Indian cinema

An American organization ‘Earnest and Young’ functioning in India has estimated that the worth of Indian cinema would touch 5 billion by 2014. 

The current worth of Indian cinemas is 3.2 billion dollar.

The ‘Earnest and Young’ organization provides consultation regarding the commerce and professional opportunities worldwide.  This organization has released report regarding Indian cinema.

In that, it is mentioned that if Indian cinema functions with Hollywood, there is probability of the Indian cinema flourishing to great extent.  Also, the organization has conveyed that currently, the growth of Indian cinema is 14.1 per cent.

Currently there are different facets to Indian cinema as entertainment, visual effect, travel, and tour and cinema education.  It has been conveyed that if Indian cinema which shows such rapid progress joins hand with Hollywood, it flourish further. 

Also, it is mentioned in the report that Indian cinema competes with cinemas in China, Japan, Russia and Brazil and that shooting for Hollywood cinema in India has increased by 42 per cent within 2010 and 2011.
