There are criticisms that actress Asin has turned haughty. Also, it is being said that she hates Tamil and Malayalam cine field which gave her a life.
Here are excerpts from Asin’s interview.
‘It is eleven years since I turned a heroine. No sooner than I entered cinemas, I decided retaining position in the field irrespective of whether there is success or failure.’
‘I have seen both success and failure of movies. I am doing my work irrespective of whether movie turns hit or failure. Criticisms are that Asin turned haughty as she moved to Hindi movies. Also, they say I look down upon South Indian cine field. I condemn this strongly.’
‘They feel people would believe any report about celebrities. That is why they utter whatever they like. I do not discriminate between Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam movies.’
‘Whatever be the language, I do movies if there is good storyline. I respect South Indian cine field as it gave life to me.’
‘My recent movies in Hindi as ‘Ready’, ‘Houseful – 2’ and ‘Bhol Bachchan’ are comedy movies. I am bored of doing stereotyped movies. I desire doing different roles.’
‘I am not a chameleon. I change into roles that I do. I would be happy if storywriters create a different character for me.’
‘I am confident that there would be roles for me in future which bring out talent in me’ said Asin.
