Anbu, a boy aged 12 went missing before 6 years. As he did movie Vazhakku EN 18/9 his parents identified him upon seeing the movie and rescued him. 

Anbu, who did role n Vazhakku EN 18/9, went missing when he was aged 6.  As he roamed about in streets of Chennai, mental health institute’s management picked him up and admitted in home for mentally-ill.

From 2006, he is being brought up in Balavihar home in Egmore, Chennai.  Balaji Sakthivel, who came across the mentally ill boy, made him do role in Vazhakku EN 18/9. 

The boy did role as neighbor of the heroine.  The movie was telecast in television on Vinayak Chathurthi occasion.  Mill worker, Loganathan and his wife residing in Tiruppur saw the movie. 

The couple identified their son in the movie.  Immediately, both rushed to Chennai and met Balaji Sakthivel.  The couple said that Anbu went missing when he was very young.

Balaji Sakthivel took the couple to the children’s home.  There, the couple furnished details as birth certificate and rescued their son.
