Bharathiraja releases statement sympathising Kamal Haasan

Director Bharathiraja has released a statement. Here is what Bharathiraja said in the statement that he released.

‘I do not know where the Indian legislation stands to protect a commoner and artiste as me.’

‘Some give lame excuses in television. There is no song in the movie... there is no romance... no comedy... it is a documentary... say those who saw the movie.  I have been priding over fact that a Tamil stands example for making movie sticking to world standards.  The movie’s technical nuances and the way story is related makes it reach world standards.’

‘Would anybody get into efforts to spend Rs 100 crore for a documentary?’

‘It is an artiste’s moral creative right to make movie out of pain in observing, hearing and experiencing instances that happened across the globe.’

‘I humbly request my brothers not to identify themselves wrongly.  Whatever be the identity that one bears, he is an Indian as long as he is in this soil.’

‘Do not desire to derive satisfaction out of hurting a good artiste, and out of hurting one who has dedicated himself to the Tamil cine field.’

‘My Tamil people..!’

‘You know how to think.  So, please think.  It is your moral duty to assist an artiste who fights for justice.  Let us say that we are all flawless Tamils.  Let us pride over that’ said Bharathiraja in the statement.
