Central Government bans telecast of ‘The Dirty Pictures’

Central Government has imposed sudden ban upon telecasting movie ‘The Dirty Pictures’ which won national award for Vidya Balan. 

The movie centers the life of late glamour actress Silk Smitha. 

The difficulties and disappointments she encountered in cine field have been cinematized.

The movie produced by Ekta Kapoor turned a super hit.  Also, Vidya Balan bagged the national award.  Now arrangements are in progress to release the movie in other languages.

Amidst all these, a popular channel prepared to telecast the movie.  Also advertisements were made.  It was announced that the movie would be telecast in day and also in the night at 8.00. 

Now, Central Government has banned telecast of the movie.  The censor board certified the movie ‘U/A’.  There was censoring into 59 scenes.  Central Government has sent notice that the movie should not be telecast during the day or in the night at 8.00.

The television company conveyed disappointment at the Central Government’s move.
