Clash between FEFSI and Small Screen Producers’ Council comes to an end

Discussion between South Indian Small Screen Producer’s Council, and Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) which had been dragging for months seemed to have no end.  


Following the issue, the Small Screen Producers’ Council decided to separate from FEFSI and form a separate association.  In a development, the general body meeting by the FEFSI was held yesterday.  In the meeting, decision was arrived at that cooperation should not be given to those who act against the FEFSI. Small Screen Producers’ Council head Radhika Sarathkumar submitted a letter saying there is no plan of separating from FEFSI and forming a separate association.  Artistes Association head Sarathkumar assured that discussion would be held with both the associations. Also, he added that, within two weeks, amicable solution would be arrived at, including salary issue.  


Following the decision, working committee meeting by FEFSI was held today.  In the meeting, it was decided that FEFSI would cooperate with small screen.  FEFSI head Ameer, and General Secretary Siva have conveyed the decision.
