Deputy CM of Karnataka invites Kamal Haasan to reside in Karnataka

As Muslim outfits conveyed protest against release of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’, the movie is banned from release in Tamil Nadu. The case with regard to ‘Vishwaroopam’ is in Chennai High Court.  Kamal Haasan gave a moving interview saying that he has invested Rs. 90 crores into movie ‘Vishwaroopam’, and if the movie is not released he would lose his property including house.  Also, Kamal Haasan added that he would shift to a secular state.

Also, Kamal Haasan said that if he does not find any state to shift to, he would quit the country to a secular country.  Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, R Ashok has said that Kamal Haasan need not quit the country, and that he could reside in Karnataka.

Regarding this, Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, R Ashok gave an interview to reporters:-

‘It is not acceptable that a ban has been imposed upon ‘Vishwaroopam’.  He has said that he would quit the country out of pain.  He need not go anywhere.  We are ready to make arrangements for Kamal Haasan to reside in Karnataka.

Following trail, BJP head in Andhra Pradesh, Kishan Reddy has conveyed support to Kamal Haasan.  He said ‘The movie ‘Vishwaroopam’ is not against any religious leader.  The movie is against terrorism which proves a threat to the country.  Kamal Haasan has taken the movie adhering to world standards.  I am proud that he is born in South India. Everybody should be proud that an Indian has made this accomplishment.  Tamil Nadu government should volunteer to release the movie without removing any scene in the movie ‘Vishwaroopam’.’
