Devayani speaks during inauguration of WCF Hospital’s T Nagar branch

In the present world of medicine, majority of deliveries are done through operations, with knives and scissors. Thus most of the deliveries are cesarean.   But, a hospital named Women and Children Foundation (WCF) has brought out about 12, 000 children to this world through normal delivery, which means that no operation was required for delivery of those children.  The Foundation is functioning in Chennai from 2001.

WCF is functioning as an international standard health care unit and hospital.  Actress Devayani and comedy actor Thambi Ramaiah participated in the inauguration of T Nagar branch of the hospital by lighting up the lamp.  Dr Rajasekar presided over the event.

Actress Devayani spoke during the event: -

‘As Dr Rajasekar suggested, women should do lot of physical exercises.  Women beyond the age of 40 and women who are nearing delivery should stop watching serials and cut the cable connection in the television.  Women should walk a lot, and do physical exercises.  It would help in normal delivery of child.

We keep aside Dhal saying that it results in gastric problems.  It is wrong to do so.  There is protein in Dhal as doctor said.  We should understand that and reduce rice, and increase intake of Dhal. If it is possible, one could drink Sāmbhar like drinking Rasam.  That is good for health.

Following address by Devayani, comedy actor Thambi Ramaiah spoke about physical exercises, and about diet.

Devayani, who is a serial actress, spoke against pregnant women watching serials. Comedy actor Thambi Ramaiah spoke of seriously doing physical exercises, which indeed turned sensation during the inaugural ceremony.
