Director Bala has done movies as Sethu, Nanda, Pithamagan, Naan KadavuL and ‘Avan Ivan’.  He is usually considered the identity for Tamil cinemas of late.

 
There was taint in Bala’s image due to delay in finish of schedules

His current venture is ‘Paradesi’ pairing up Adharva and Vedika.  Bala seems to have finished the movie at a stretch in 90 days.  This has taken Kodambakkam circles by surprise.
