Director Shankar applauds Vijays dedication

Director Shankar mentioned in the audio release for the movie ‘Nanban’ that actor Vijay is a duty-bound person.  The movie ‘Nanban’ is a remake of the Hindi movie ‘3 Idiots’.  The movie starred by Vijay, Srikanth and Jeeva has been directed by Shankar.  Harris Jayaraj has done the music composition.  The audio release for the movie took place in Coimbatore in a grand manner.  The audio CD was given by SA Chandrasekar, Vijay’s father and was received by actor Prabhu.

Shankar speaking on the occasion mentioned ‘I went for a shooting in Mumbai.  Then I saw the movie ‘3 Idiots’.  Once I finished viewing the movie I decided to remake it in Tamil.  ‘Nanban’ is the expression of the thought.  The movie has come out wonderfully like ‘3 Idiots’.  The stars for the movie Vijay, Srikanth and Jeeva have performed wonderfully.’

‘Particularly Vijay’s dedication and interest is terrific.  He is a duty-bound actor.  Everybody likes Vijay.  Even if one does not like Vijay, he will start liking Vijay after viewing the movie.  One should not come to see the movie with preoccupation of ‘Sivaji’ and ‘Enthiran’.  This movie does not have graphics scenes as ‘Enthiran’.  But there is a good storyline in ‘Nanban.’

‘Although I got a chance to act in ‘Mudhalvan’ directed by Shankar, I was not able to make use of it.  I am exhilarated that I am acting now in Shankar’s venture.  Both Jeeva and Srikanth who have starred in this movie are my friends.  Jeeva is used to enthusing us in the shooting spot.  We used to take up the sad scenes seriously.  Even at that juncture he is used to set spark to the humor. I am not used to controlling laughter. I used to enjoy Jeeva’s humor.’
