Farmers complain against Madhavan

A section of farmers in Dindigul district have filed a complaint against actor Madhavan for allegedly encroaching agrarian land and obstructing flow of water to them.

A redressal meeting for farmers was presided over by Dindigul district Collector T N Hariharan.

Speaking at the meeting, Mahalakshmi and Ganesan, who have agrarian lands in the Balasamudhiram area in the district, said, 'actor Madhavan purchased seven acres of land in our place. He has put an electric fence around the property which prevents us from getting water meant for our land'.

'Also the actor's men have allegedly encroached barren lands around the place including these meant to store our yield. We want authorities concerned to take immediate action and ensure we get water to irrigate our crops'.
