Forest brigand Veerappans wife demands ban on movie centering his life

Muthulakshmi, wife of forest brigand Veerappan made a statement that the movie ‘Vanayuddham’ centering her husband’s life should be banned from release. The movie ‘Vanayuddham’ is a directorial venture by one Ramesh centering Veerappan’s life.  This movie casts ‘Aadukalam’ Kishore in Veerappan’s character, Vijayalakshmi in Muthulakshmi’s character, and Arjun is to come as police officer.  As is the situation, Veerappan’s wife Muthulakhmi has placed a demand that the movie be banned.

Muthulakshmi who met press people regarding this said ‘Director Ramesh is taking the movie ‘Vanayuddham’ centering my husband Veerappan’s life without my consent.  He is going about saying that the movie is on the make after I nodded in assent.  But this is not true.  This movie is being made with sole purpose of financial benefit.  The cases with regard to my husband are still pending.  As is the scenario, release of this movie with wrong details about my husband is against law.  Moreover, the actress cast in my role comes in meager attire.  So ‘Vanayuddham’ should be banned from release.  I have filed a case in the court regarding this.’
