Fresh case against Kaththi

Anbu Rajashekar from Ilangadu Village of Thanjavur district has filed a petition seeking a ban on dubbing of the movie ‘Kaththi’ in to any other languages and to pay compensation for the theft of the story.

In the petition he has said that the story of Kaththi is based on his short film ‘Thaga bhoomi’ and thus he should be given compensation for the theft of his story.

The judge Mohammad Ali has adjourned the case on dubbing the film to January 7 and summoned the director A.R.Murugadoss, Producer Karunakaran and Subhaskaran.

In addition, the judge has adjourned the case against paying compensation to January 23 and has summoned A.R.Murugadoss, Vijay and producer Karunakaran and Subhaskaran and cinematographer George Williams.
