Movie ‘ViNNai ThaaNdi Varuvaaya’ pairing up Simbu and Trisha, and which was directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon turned a megahit in Tamil.  Following success of the movie, Gautam directed the movie in Hindi.  The movie did not receive expected response from audience there. 

Gautam Menon has planned to direct second half of ‘ViNNai ThaaNdi Varuvaaya’.  Gautam had already planned to do Yohan Addhiyaayam starring Vijay.

But since the venture starring Vijay was dropped, Gautam has decided to begin chedules for second half of the movie ViNNai ThaaNdi Varuvaaya.  It seems Gautam is into efforts to pair up Simbu and Trisha for the second half.
